Announcing the arrival of Ra's and Emerald's litter!

5 Girls  -  4 Boys

All are very strong and healthy and Mom is doing great!
We took the puppies outside for the first time today, Sunday, March 4, 2012.  The did a lot of exploring!!
Thanks to our friend and fellow ridgeback lover we have a lot of pictures of the puppies on their 4 week old birthday!! (February 20, 2012) Make sure you see them all!!!!
Emerald is home!!!!
Not everyone knows Emerald had an issue with a non-surgical bloat last Thursday that lead to complications of aspiration pnuemonia. We really thought we had lost her as we made the transfer from our vet to the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center of New Mexico. And truthfully it was touch and go for about 12 hours. A big thanks to all the vets and techs that worked on her.  Also a big thanks to all our friends who sent well wishes, good thoughts, lots of blessings and many, many prayers for our girl. Mark and I know how truely blessed we are to have each of you in our lives. We were excited to pick her up today and her puppies were very happy to have her home. Here are the homecoming pictures.
